Job summary

This on-site role includes leading risk management, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives with a focus on incident investigations and risk reduction across the facility. The ideal candidate brings hospital-based risk leadership, knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS/DHS standards, and a CPA/CPHRM/Six Sigma background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have risk & leadership experience in a hospital setting.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two to five years of risk management experience.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable about Joint Commission Standards and CMS/DHS regulations.
• CPHRM certification preferred.
• Six Sigma/Lean knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee claim management, investigations, and analysis.
• Perform risk assessments for new services.
• Conduct root cause analyses and track action plans.
• Manage the Patient Safety Council and TERM program integration.
• Collaborate with department directors and exec team on risk reduction.
• Provide regulatory and compliance expertise.
• Lead data analysis, reporting, and training efforts.
