Job summary

Adventist Health Portland is seeking a skilled maintenance worker to keep our facilities and physical plant in reliable operation across the Portland campus. You will perform general and preventative maintenance, inspect equipment, assist in training team members, and participate in renovations and new installations.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, maintaining maintenance records, coordinating with outside services for complex equipment failures, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years' industrial/commercial maintenance experience is preferred.
• High School Education/GED or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and performs a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services.
• Sets up and installs furniture and participates in major renovations, new construction, alterations and equipment installations.
• Performs alteration and repairs of machinery, equipment or facilities per instructions and diagrams.
• Maintains required maintenance records and training of junior staff.
• Inspects and maintains vehicles and conducts routine safety tests.
• Reports issues and coordinates with outside services for major equipment failures.
