HURC is seeking a Program Director of Hospital Coding & Billing to lead strategic and operational initiatives across inpatient and outpatient coding, billing, CDI, and revenue cycle operations. You will partner with hospital executives and internal teams to drive performance improvements, implement scalable processes, and expand client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years of progressive hospital coding, billing, HIM, revenue cycle, or healthcare financial operations.
• 3+ years of leadership or program management experience.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient and outpatient hospital coding, billing, and revenue cycle operations.
• Experience with healthcare clients, hospitals, health systems, or physician organizations.
• Experience leading process improvement or revenue cycle initiatives.
• Strong understanding of payer requirements and reimbursement methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for hospital coding and billing programs.
• Develop program strategies, workflows, KPIs, and implementation plans.
• Monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop scalable processes and best practices across multiple clients.
• Drive improvements in coding accuracy, reimbursement, productivity, quality, and financial performance.
• Serve as a trusted senior client-facing leader.
• Lead client meetings, executive presentations, and performance reviews.
• Translate complex revenue cycle challenges into actionable recommendations.
• Build relationships with hospital executives and coding leaders.
• Manage client escalations and ensure timely resolutions.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional HURC solutions.
• Evaluate hospital revenue cycle operations to identify performance and reimbursement opportunities.
• Monitor financial and operational results following implementation.
