Job summary

TruBlue Home Service Ally in Phoenix is seeking a Lead Home Service Technician. This senior field role requires hands-on mastery across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and finish work, with the ability to lead projects and mentor junior technicians.

You will manage projects from scope to completion, ensure high-quality workmanship, and communicate clearly with homeowners and caregivers. Experience with aging-in-place modifications is highly valued, along with proficiency in service-management

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in residential construction, remodeling, handyman services, or home maintenance.
• Strong carpentry skills with trim/doors/framing/cabinetry/finish work.
• Proficient in plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs.
• Experience leading projects and working independently.
• Comfortable handling customer expectations and interactions.
• Aging-in-place or accessibility experience preferred.
• Experience using service management software such as Housecall Pro/Jobber/ServiceTitan.
• Owns professional-grade tools and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general home repairs.
• Lead and execute home modification projects for seniors and mobility challenges.
• Install grab bars, handrails, ramps, cabinetry, doors, and other accessibility solutions.
• Manage projects from start to finish with high-quality workmanship.
• Mentor junior technicians and support the team in the field.
• Identify challenges and develop field-based solutions.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, caregivers, vendors, and office staff.
• Document work, photos, notes, materials, and updates using Housecall Pro and related systems.
• Assist with scoping, estimating, material planning, and project recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Represent TruBlue as a trusted home service professional.
