Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II - Home Infusion Compounding at the Southlake Campus. This full-time role focuses on sterile compounding, order entry, packaging, and shipping coordination within our Home Infusion team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience (18 months at KU Health System preferred) and active registration with the State Board of Pharmacy. CSPT/CTPT certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience as a pharmacy technician in a comparable setting.
• 18 months experience as a pharmacy technician at The University of Kansas Health System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medications and supplies for dispensing in sterile and non-sterile forms.
• Manages inventory, pulls and stocks ADS machines & CSM, and ensures barcode accuracy.
• Places and receives drug orders, reviews schedules for inventory planning, and handles backorders.
