Job summary

The Ontario Reign are seeking a Sr. Content & Communications Coordinator to elevate hockey content and fan engagement across digital platforms, including the website, app, and social channels. You will craft stories, previews, and recaps, and collaborate across departments to support revenue-driving initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in communications, editing skills, and a passion for hockey. This role includes hosting the Reign podcast, coordinating media relations, and supporting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred) Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• 4-6 years minimum experience in communications coordinating at a small venue/company
• Prior press, media, and content creation experience
• Knowledge and interest in sports or hockey preferred

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and publish hockey content across digital platforms including website, app, and social media; draft stories and recaps
• Support website and mobile app functionality; liaise with vendors and explore digital trends
• Coordinate media relations, interview scheduling and production management
• Serve as liaison between Hockey Ops and business teams for timely communications
• Host and produce the Reign podcast; create clips and episode content
• Assist with game notes, live updates, and post-game communications; color commentary optional
