Job summary

Altera Digital Health is seeking a Senior HL7 Interface Developer to design, develop, test and support healthcare integration solutions. This role requires hands-on HL7 development with v2.x messaging, interface design, and troubleshooting in a hybrid environment across the US.

Qualifications

5+ years in healthcare technology or integration.
Hands-on HL7 coding and development experience.
Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x messaging and workflows.
Experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting healthcare interfaces.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, code, test, debug, and maintain healthcare interfaces and workflows.
Develop and support HL7 interfaces, including mapping, transformations, routing, and validation.
Analyze and resolve complex interface issues using logs and debugging tools.
Translate business requirements into technical designs and documentation.
Partner with clients and internal teams to deliver integration solutions.
Support interface development lifecycle: requirements, testing, deployment, production support.
Create and execute functional, integration, and regression test plans.
Maintain interface documentation and drive continuous improvement of environments.
Manage multiple priorities and communicate project status, risks, and resolutions.
