Job Title: Senior - Hive Developer

Location: Austin, Texas, California (Remote to start with)

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Job Description:

• Experience with Hive 3.x and Tez, Bash, Python, Java.
• Knowledge of Big Data and Cloud platform services: Apache Hadoop, Apache Hive.
• Experience with Hive Tez migration and optimization of Hive code.
• Basic understanding of ETL, Data Pipelines using Python, Shell Scripts, Ctrl-M, Apache Airflow.
• Experience in Building & Populating Data Warehouses and Querying with BI tools.
• Basic knowledge of RDBMS fundamentals: designing and creating databases, schemas, tables; DB administration, security, working with MySQL & IBM Db2.
• Proficiency in SQL query language, database functions, stored procedures, working with multiple tables, joins, and transactions.
