Job summary
CHAOS Industries, based in El Segundo, CA, is seeking a Principal Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer to lead advanced simulation environments. This role encompasses full lifecycle development from requirements shaping to integration, focusing on high-reliability platforms.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in HIL testing, excellent programming skills, and the ability to guide engineering teams. A competitive salary range between $170k and $240k is offered, along with comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including a 401(k) plan and PTO.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
- Familiarity with flight controller software such as PX4 or ArduPilot.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of HIL test benches for full system integration.
- Define HIL strategy and validation approaches.
- Integrate hardware components into HIL systems.
