The ideal candidate will hold a BS in Civil Engineering and have a NJ Professional Engineer license, along with 5+ years of NJDOT/NJTA project experience. Responsibilities include managing projects, preparing documents, monitoring budgets, and ensuring quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• NJ Professional Engineer license required.
• 5+ years’ experience in highway design.
• Proficiency with NJDOT, NJTA, AASHTO, and MUTCD design standards.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all facets of highway engineering including design and utility relocations.
• Prepare contract documents including plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Monitor budgets and schedules.
• Assist in preparing proposals for professional services.
