Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements described in Caltrans Class Specification.
• Candidate must have a valid California driver’s license (CDL) or class C with appropriate endorsements.
• Ability to work overtime and irregular shifts, including nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a crew in highway/landscape maintenance and graffiti tasks.
• Plans, organizes, conducts and evaluates safety-training needs.
• Develops work plans and crew schedules for an assigned area.
• May be required to respond to emergencies and be loaned to other cost centers.
