Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Project Manager / Sr Highway Design Engineer (Roadway Engineer 3) to lead multiple transportation design projects in Georgia, interfacing with clients, agencies and stakeholders to guide work from concept to final design. You will provide daily quality control, mentor junior engineers, manage contracts and budgets, and support business development to grow our transportation practice.

Requirements include BSCE or BCE, 10+ years in highway design, 2+ years in project management,

Qualifications

• BSCE or BCE required.
• 10+ years highway design experience.
• 2+ years in project management.
• GA PE and GSWCC Level II certification required.
• Experience with Bentley MicroStation V8 and MS Office.
• Open Roads Designer experience preferred.
• Georgia DOT PDP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple transportation design projects with client interactions.
• Provide daily quality control and oversee junior engineers.
• Support business development and contract administration.
