The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, 10 to 20 years of progressive experience, NYS PE license, and the ability to lead multiple highway design projects with a strong written and verbal communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10 to 20 years of progressive experience in the field.
• NYS PE license required.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Manages preparation of design calculations and details.
• Manages preparation of contract plans and specifications.
• Manages construction cost estimates.
• Reviews construction submittals.
• Leads multiple projects and mentors junior staff.
• Represents PDG in public/engineer presentations.
• Participates in business development activities.
