Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking an Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Pennsylvania PE license (or reciprocity) and at least eight years of progressive Civil Engineering experience. The role involves developing, coordinating, and managing highway design efforts, construction plans, right-of-way plans, specifications, and project estimates.

Qualifications

• 8+ years post-baccalaureate experience in Civil Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PA Professional Engineer license or reciprocity to obtain PA license required.
• Experience in highway design, construction plans, and project estimation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager across engineering projects and mentor staff.
• Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules for project tasks; coordinate staffing.
• Design development and review of highway alignment, drainage, and related plans using CAD tools.
• May serve as Task Manager on small projects.
