Creighton Manning, a GAI company, seeks a Construction Inspector IV to review plans and supervise inspectors on highway projects around White Plains, NY. The role requires NICET Level IV and the ability to develop inspection strategies and manage schedules and budgets.

You will interpret contracts and specifications, delegate tasks, and oversee contract changes, wage reporting, and project closeout in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Field experience and successful NICET Level IV testing and requirements.
• Familiarity with NYSDOT specifications and procedures (MURK reporting).
• Experience in highway construction inspection or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspections of critical construction activities.
• Develop and manage operation-specific hold-points.
• Identify problems during construction, diagnose remedies.
• Review baseline schedules and updates; communicate status.
• Review work for payment eligibility and contract costs.
• Interpret contracts, plans and specs; manage changes.
