Job summary
Nederman Corporation, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Senior Applications Engineer – High Vacuum Solutions to lead technical applications for high-vacuum extraction and source-capture systems. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- 8–10+ years of experience in applications/solutions engineering for high-vacuum or related industrial air systems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Autodesk and Microsoft Office suite.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical applications for complex high-vacuum extraction and source-capture projects.
- Collaborate with sales, project management, and engineering teams to meet requirements.
- Develop concepts and proposals using ProQuote and similar tools.
- Define scope, technical requirements, budget costs, and timelines with cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate technologies and configurations to ensure value and TCOT.
- Provide technical leadership for system architecture, controls, and design parameters.
- Support site evaluations, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance.
