Job summary

Brainerd Public Schools seeks an Assistant Track Coach - Sr. High to provide leadership on rules, strategies, and safety, preparing athletes to compete at the highest level. You will guide practices, support the Head Coach, and build rapport with students, families, and staff. A high school degree is required; coaching experience is preferred; you must work well with parents, students, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED or equivalent is required.
• Experience in coaching or athletic programs is preferred.
• Ability to work with students, parents, and staff effectively.
• Willingness to follow direction and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct in all activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead practices and attend meets for assigned activity.
• Support the Head Coach and provide guidance to staff.
• Encourage student participation and build rapport with participants.
• Motivate athletes to reach their best performance.
• Collaborate with Head Coach, AD, families and community resources.
• Ensure compliance with all school rules and district policies.
