Penguin Solutions seeks a Senior PCB Design Layout Engineer to advance memory and hardware products with high-speed digital, mixed-signal, and power designs. You will use Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture to deliver complex layouts, impedance-controlled routing, and HDI features.

The role requires coordination with hardware, SI/PI, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability from concept to production release. Remote-friendly with CA locations available.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of PCB design/layout experience for high-speed digital, mixed-signal, and power designs.
• 5+ years hands-on Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture experience.

Mansioni

• Own PCB design layout execution from floor planning through release to fabrication and assembly.
• Collaborate with hardware, SI/PI, mechanical, manufacturing and test teams to design new products or modify existing ones.
• Create PCB footprints per IPC standards and manufacturer data sheets as needed.
• Define board outlines, mechanical constraints, and routing keepouts; ensure manufacturability and DFM readiness.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, Gerber/ODB++ files, and complete release packages.
• Lead reviews (placement, routing, DFM) and mentor junior PCB designers.
