Job summary

Broadcom in Irvine seeks a senior engineer to design, develop and evaluate high-speed analog circuits for wireline transceivers, with a strong focus on ADC/DAC, TIAs, and clock/data recovery. You will work with CAD tools, review components, and collaborate with vendors to meet performance targets.

• Master's degree in Engineering/Computer Science with 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience in high-speed analog circuit design is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry.
• Specialize in high-speed analog circuit design for wireline transceivers.
• Determines design approaches, analyzes data, conducts tests, selects components and reviews vendor capability.
• Layout/design work is done with state-of-the-art CAD tools and collaborates across teams.
• Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
