Job summary

Stellios Technologies in Albuquerque, NM is hiring an exceptional High Power Microwave Engineer to design, build, test, and scale high power microwave sources, with initial focus on klystrons and gyrotrons. You will work directly with hardware and own major parts of the path from first principles design through fabrication, integration, power testing, and troubleshooting.

You must have a PhD or MS/BS with relevant experience and be comfortable working on site in NM, CA, or TX.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of electromagnetics and microwave engineering.
• Experience designing, testing, and debugging high power microwave hardware.
• Willingness to work on site with high voltage and precision instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and scale high power microwave sources.
• Own path from design through fabrication, integration, and power testing.
• Perform diagnostics, trouble-shooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Transition prototypes into production hardware.
