Job summary

Omni Design Technologies, Inc. in Milpitas, California is seeking a Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to lead high-performance ADC/DAC converter development from spec through design and layout supervision, silicon evaluation and market introduction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in analog/mixed-signal IC development, strong transistor-level design skills, experience with Cadence tools and bench testing, and proven production experience in advanced CMOS processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high-performance analog or mixed-signal IC development in advanced CMOS processes.
• Experience in high-speed, high-resolution ADC or DAC design techniques and building blocks (bandgap reference, op-amps, comparators, oscillators, DLL/PLL).
• Proven track record of taking designs to production.
• Experience with bench evaluation and standard lab equipment.
• Strong understanding of transistor-level circuit design including noise and mismatch analysis.
• Experience with analog and digital behavioral modeling and/or synthesis of digital control blocks.
• Familiar with Cadence schematic capture, Virtuoso, Spectre and/or HSPICE.
• Familiar with layout parasitic extraction tools and layout dependent impairments.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-performance analog/mixed-signal IC development from specification through layout supervision.
• Oversee silicon evaluation and characterization, and drive product introduction to market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations to ensure design integrity and manufacturability.
