Job summary

Omni Design Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to drive high-performance ADC/DAC development from spec to product launch. You will lead transistor-level design, supervise layout, and evaluate silicon while coordinating with global teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in analog/mixed-signal ICs, deep understanding of noise/mismatch, and hands-on experience with Cadence tools; MATLAB is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high-performance analog or mixed-signal IC development in advanced CMOS processes.
• Experience with ADC/DAC data converter design techniques and building blocks (bandgap, op-amps, comparators, oscillators, DLL/PLL).
• Track record of taking designs to production and evaluating silicon on bench.
• Strong transistor-level circuit design understanding including noise and mismatch.
• Experience with analogue and digital behavioral modeling and synthesis of digital control blocks.
• Familiar with Cadence schematic capture, Virtuoso, Spectre and/or HSPICE tools.
• Might have MATLAB knowledge; ESD and electromigration aware design in submicron CMOS.
• Layout parasitic extraction tooling and layout-dependent impairments knowledge.
• Ability to work independently, meet schedules, and communicate across dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead transistor-level design from initial specification through design and layout supervision.
• Oversee silicon evaluation and characterization to enable product introduction.
• Collaborate with teams across different geographic locations to ensure design integrity.
• Develop and validate analog/mixed-signal building blocks and control loops.
