• Keeps current in subject matter knowledge and supports curriculum revision and selection of instructional materials.
• Develops reasonable rules of classroom behavior, ensures safety, and supervises students during the school day.
• Maintains positive relations with parents and the public; communicates effectively and cooperates with staff.
• Continues professional growth through workshops and advanced coursework; participates in inservice training and meetings.
• Evaluates student progress using multiple assessments and adjusts instruction accordingly; maintains confidentiality of records.
