• Bilingual/biliterate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements instruction that adheres to district goals and provides effective teaching strategies.
• Keeps current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory; supports curriculum revision and selection of materials.
• Develops reasonable classroom rules and discipline techniques; ensures safety and supervision.
• Upholds board policy and communicates positively with families and the public; collaborates with staff.
• Continues professional growth through workshops and courses; participates in inservice training.
• Evaluates student learning with multiple assessments and adjusts instructional programs accordingly.
