Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an experienced Senior Aircraft Technician for MAR assignments. This contract role involves detailed inspections, assemblies, repairs, and system checks on helicopters, with delivery interface to customers as required.

You will work onsite, bring six years of aviation maintenance experience (helicopters preferred) and an FAA A&P license or eligibility for a Repairman Certificate; travel and physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) years of aviation maintenance experience, some on helicopters.
• Current FAA A&P license OR ability to qualify for Repairman Certificate (18 months on Airbus helicopters).
• Knowledge of standard maintenance practices and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment and alignment of aircraft parts.
• Conduct operational checks to verify proper system functioning.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in helicopter systems including hydraulics, fuel, doors, gear and engines.
• Interface with customer for delivery and prepare for delivery inspection.
