Job summary

Goldman Sachs Asset Management is seeking a Senior/Lead-level Senior Product Specialist in New York, NY to drive capital formation and investor engagement for multi-manager strategies. You will manage go-to-market efforts, engage with clients, and coordinate with ACF, Sales and legal teams to advance fundraising and strategy.

The role calls for 7+ years experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to lead campaigns across regions.

Qualifications

7+ years in a similar or related role.
Experience in capital formation and investor relations.
Familiarity with hedge fund separately managed accounts and/or less correlated strategies.
Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical and interpersonal skills.
Strong relationship building with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong leadership, able to lead global campaigns and manage investor relations.
Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects in tight timeframes.
Attention to detail and delivering high accuracy.

Responsibilities

Drive commercial strategy, capital formation & client engagement for funds/products across regions and channels.
Articulate investment strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate to define target investor base and track fundraising progress towards KPIs.
Lead development of marketing content and define strategic direction.
Lead and direct client due diligence processes, including negotiations with legal teams.
Engage with clients frequently and occasional business travel.
Mentor junior team members and respond to client inquiries and ad hoc requests.
