Unarco Material Handling in Pandora, OH seeks a Senior Manufacturing Manager to direct large-scale plant operations and maintenance, focusing on maximizing heavy equipment utilization and high-throughput while enforcing strict safety and quality standards.

Lead multi-shift teams of supervisors and skilled labor, develop long-term operational plans, budgets, and CapEx strategies, and drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in heavy industrial manufacturing (aerospace, automotive, steel, mining, defense, or heavy equipment).
• 5+ years of direct managerial experience overseeing multi-shift operations or entire plant departments.
• 3+ years of experience working with equipment that is for forming, punching, press operations with steel or comparable metal
• 3+ years of experience working or overseeing MIG welding operations.

Responsabilités

• Direct large-scale assembly, machining, fabrication, welding, or heavy component casting operations.
• Coordinate production schedules with logistics, procurement, and supply chain teams to hit delivery windows.
• Lead safety, compliance & quality assurance with OSHA and heavy industry standards.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives tailored to heavy industrial footprints.
• Oversee preventative maintenance for massive capital assets, heavy machinery, and PLC control infrastructure.
• Mentor supervisors & shift leaders to build a multi-shift talent pipeline.
