Responsibilities

• Repair heavy equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, loaders, yard trucks and forklifts.
• Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulics, motors, transmissions and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance per site checklists.
• Handle paperwork such as work orders and PM checklists.
• Service other equipment like light plants, water pumps and welders.
• Adhere to site procedures and perform additional duties as assigned.

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic III you'll be responsible for the service and repair of heavy equipment like bulldozers, scrapers & front end loaders - this equipment is vital to the work we do, so your work will be recognized and valued for the impact it has on our operation. • Repair equipment including, but not limited to, bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars.
• Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems.
• Preventative maintenance as set out by the site checklist.
• Paperwork and admin tasks such as work orders, card files, P.M. checklists, and oil samples.
• Service and maintains other equipment such as light plants, water pump, welders, and other equipment.
• Reference site-specific procedures and more detailed site-specific job descriptions.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
