Qualifications

• Two years of mobile equipment operating experience.
• Completion of academic and practical competencies; passing a written assessment when required.
• Ability to apply knowledge and safety practices in the field.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in support of production at a high skill level.
• Operate haul trucks, water trucks and other heavy machinery as needed.
• May assist with training and mentoring other equipment operators.
• Follow start-up/shut-down, parking, LOTOTO procedures and safety protocols.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and minor maintenance as required.
• Communicate via computer dispatch or two-way radio.
• Support project work such as road building and stockpile management.
