City of Canton, Ohio is seeking a Utility Operator 2/Semiskilled Laborer to operate trucks and equipment for public works, road maintenance, and infrastructure projects. Requires Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement, a high school diploma or GED, U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status, and being at least 18 years old.This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, retirement, paid vacations, holidays, and sick leave.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tank Endorsement.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Drives trucks for construction, clean up, and city maintenance operations.
• Handles and moves materials for storage, maintenance or construction.
• May direct a crew to which they are assigned under supervision.
• Performs duties of a Utility Operator 2/Semiskilled Laborer as needed.
