Job summary

Koppers Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to repair and maintain heavy equipment across our facilities. You will diagnose, inspect, and improve equipment performance while working safely in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires troubleshooting, schematic reading, and strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft applications is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, technical degree in related field, or related experience
• 5+ years of technical field-related experience specific to heavy equipment and related certifications
• 3+ years training employees in mobile heavy equipment preferred
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Computer literate: Microsoft Applications and CMMS software
• Strong manufacturing knowledge and understanding of the procurement/supply chain process
