Conti LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our Orlando, Florida team. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy construction equipment, commercial trucks, and company vehicles, in shop or on project sites, including field service from a service truck.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in heavy equipment repair, with strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills and experience using JPRO or similar diagnostic software.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair failures and take corrective steps to keep equipment operating at maximum efficiency.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems commonly found on heavy equipment.
• Competent using industry maintenance software platforms, including JPRO or similar diagnostic programs.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks without direct supervision.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
• Must own a basic set of mechanic tools.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Mansioni

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on heavy construction equipment, trucks, and vehicles.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
• Complete repairs on both diesel and gasoline-powered equipment.
• Respond to field service calls and perform repairs at active construction job sites when needed.
• Operate from a service truck to perform mobile repairs and maintenance.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize fleet efficiency.
• Utilize industry-leading maintenance software to track repairs, document work performed, monitor equipment health, and communicate updates to management.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
• Perform equipment testing and verification to ensure repairs meet safety and operational standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with operations personnel, supervisors, and fleet management regarding equipment status and repair schedules.
