Foss Recycling Inc. in La Grange, NC seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to keep our recycling fleet running at peak performance. You will diagnose faults, perform routine and major repairs, and ensure safety and reliability across a range of heavy equipment.

This hands-on role requires own tools, a high school diploma or GED, and at least five years in heavy equipment; certification is a plus. You’ll work with a collaborative team and report to management to maintain fleet integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic preferred.
• Extensive experience in repairing and maintaining heavy‑duty equipment.
• Minimum of 5 years heavy equipment experience.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose faults with computerized testing tools.
• Adjust equipment and replace faulty parts to maintain performance.
• Perform routine and major repairs on various equipment types.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and report to management to ensure fleet integrity.
