Qualdoc in Taneytown, MD is looking for a Heavy Equipment & Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document work orders. The position requires 5+ years of experience, strong troubleshooting in multiple mechanical domains, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance experience with heavy equipment.
Strong troubleshooting in multiple mechanical systems.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Certifications in heavy equipment maintenance are a plus.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsabilités

Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and other motorized equipment.
Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, small engines, air conditioning, and related components.
Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment operational.
Document repairs, mileage, operating hours, and other required information on work orders.
Coordinate repair priorities with the Shop Foreman.
Travel when needed for work assignments, training, meetings, or equipment support.
Follow safety procedures and maintain an orderly work area.
Perform other maintenance and repair duties as assigned.
