Job summary

TEC Equipment is seeking an experienced diesel truck technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks across a broad range of systems. The role covers inspections, diagnostics, and performing complex repairs to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

You will work with advanced training programs and maintain thorough service records in a fast-paced shop environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on experience with 6 & 8 truck classes, own tools, and strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial 6 & 8 truck classes.
• Own hand tools required.
• Proficient in diesel engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, hydraulics.
• CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to repair vehicles to proper operating condition.
• Perform advanced repairs and replace major components such as radiators, turbos, and engines.
• Rebuild or repair major components and perform engine overhauls as needed.
• Troubleshoot complex wiring and diagnose electronic issues.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and accurate service records.
