Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro seeks an experienced Diesel Mechanic Level A to maintain and repair heavy-duty trucks and equipment used in essential environmental and waste services.

You'll perform advanced diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs to keep vehicles operating safely and efficiently, in a fast-paced shop environment. Compliance with safety, environmental, and DOT requirements is essential. Experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brake troubleshooting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced diesel mechanics skills with strong diagnostic capability.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and air brake systems.
• Knowledge of DOT and safety/environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brake systems.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and complex repairs to ensure reliable operation.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and system failures using established procedures.
• Ensure all maintenance and repairs comply with safety, environmental, and DOT requirements.
• Support a fast-paced, team-oriented shop environment to help keep operations running safely.
