Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-timeSenior Heavy ConstructionEstimatorwith civil experience relating to railways/transit in theNew York City, NY & Newark, NJarea.

The ideal candidate hasat least 10 yearsof experience in the field of construction as a full-time Estimator, with demonstrated projects they have worked on relating to large-scale civil railway construction.

If selected, candidates will need to provide digital proof of licensure and certification for all U.S.-based accolades, including academic degree, before time of interview. Information provided is handled with discretion and will be used purely for benefit of employment with various government agency clients and associated background checks.

This is a full-time, Hybrid position inNew York, NY.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESinclude, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide project scoping, design, and construction phase supervision services for a large transit program
• Utilizing your knowledge of project controls, including cost and schedule management methods, specific to the transit industry.
• Collaborating with the program lead estimator and the cost estimating team to develop accurate cost estimates for various components of the transit program, such as civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, track, utilities, maintenance and storage facilities, signal and communications systems, bus depot facilities, and way side power facilities.

QUALIFICATIONSinclude, but are not limited to, the following:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to construction required.
• 10+ years of professional experience working directly as afull-time Estimatorinvolved in large-scale civil railway construction projects.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software, construction cost databases, and MS Excel for detailed analysis and reporting.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat)
• Driver's License .
• Fluent in English with strong verbal/written communication skills
