Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Superintendent to lead all stages of heavy civil projects with a hands-on, high-output approach. You will manage budgets, schedules, safety programs, and subcontractor performance while coordinating with clients and staff to ensure on-time delivery within scope and quality targets.

The role requires a strong background in construction project management, with leadership and communication skills to drive teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a superintendent role in construction.
• Proven PM, budgeting, scheduling, safety and subcontractor management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality control and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management software; degree preferred in CM orCivil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project management to deliver on time, within budget and scope.
• Supervise activities, ensure compliance with specs, safety standards and quality control.
• Develop schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and manage construction processes.
• Prepare and manage budgets, control costs and ensure financial accountability.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections in line with regulations.
• Manage client, stakeholder, subcontractor and staff relationships for smooth collaboration.
• Resolve issues or delays impacting timelines, budget or quality.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to plans.
