Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Structures Estimator for heavy civil work in Orange County, CA. The role focuses on estimating bridges, concrete structures, water facilities, and transportation projects, supporting successful bids and coordinated execution with operations.

You will own full-cycle estimation, perform takeoffs, analyze costs, review plans, and work with subs and vendors to optimize bids. This position requires durable communication and a proactive approach to risk and scope

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil or structural construction.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and structural drawings.
• Experience with takeoff and estimating software (Bluebeam, HCSS, HeavyBid).
• Knowledge of DOT/public agency projects is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Own full-cycle estimating from takeoff to bid submission.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete, rebar, formwork, excavation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for bid analyses.
• Analyze costs for labor, materials, equipment, and production rates.
• Review plans, specs, geotechnical reports, and project risks.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving strategies.
• Prepare bid packaging and proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams.
