Alabama Grading & Excavation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex heavy civil and commercial construction from preconstruction through closeout. The role emphasizes tight controls, safety, and on-time delivery.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, field operations, and subcontractors while coordinating with clients and authorities. Strong communication and a proven record in ground-up or site development projects are essential.

Competenze

• 7–10+ years in heavy civil and/or commercial PM
• Proven success delivering ground-up, infrastructure, roadway, utility, or site development projects
• Strong knowledge of civil construction means and methods, contracts, and scheduling
• Proficiency with project management tools
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• OSHA 30 preferred

Mansioni

• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution for heavy civil and commercial projects
• Lead internal and external teams including superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, and consultants
• Serve as primary contact for clients, architects, engineers, and agencies
• Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to monitor progress, quality, and safety
• Develop and manage detailed project budgets, cost forecasts, and resource plans
• Track cost codes, change orders, production rates, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
