Job summary

Rummel Construction, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Experienced Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager to lead field projects from planning through execution.

You will oversee project plans, schedules, costs, subcontractor management, and client relations, driving safety and quality on site. This role requires at least 5 years of heavy civil PM experience, a valid driver's license, and a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Heavy/Civil Construction.
• Must have a valid driver's license and the willingness to travel to job sites.
• College degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Experience with ViewPoint or similar PM software, Primavera/MS Project Scheduling, and HCSS Heavybid are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and understand project plans, specifications, contracts, and cost controls.
• Analyze costs, project sequence, scheduling, and change orders.
• Negotiate subcontracts, manage subcontractors/suppliers, and drive project efficiency.
• Maintain project documentation systems and client relations.
