Job summary

HRI, Inc. seeks a seasoned Project Manager to provide technical and administrative direction for heavy and highway construction and site development projects. This salaried, exempt position will work with indirect supervision.

The PM will manage projects from start to finish, oversee and support the Project Engineer, plan field staffing through Superintendents/Foremen, and ensure construction aligns with design, budget, and schedule while maintaining strong owner and engineer interfaces.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Five years of experience managing heavy/highway construction projects preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain mandatory training.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Provide overall technical and administrative direction for management and implementation of heavy/highway construction and site development projects.
Manage awarded projects from beginning to end including scheduling, change orders, project administration, job cost review, billings, collections, meetings and close-out.
Oversee and support the Project Engineer to ensure proper administrative functions are performed.
Plan and staff field positions through Project Superintendent/Foreman; monitor and control construction per design, budget, and schedule.
