Job summary

Incertec Heat Treating is seeking an Experienced Heat Treat Operator with 10+ years in heat treating. The role will progress to Production Supervisor, leading a small team and reporting to the Plant Manager. Primary duties involve precise operation of heat treat equipment to ensure high-quality thermal processing.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, reads engineering drawings, and can work in hot environments. Safety, quality compliance, and data reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in heat treating or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using SPC and data acquisition systems.
• Familiarity with PLC/HMI controls and systems like Cimcool or Centorr.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate vacuum furnaces for heat treatment processes including hardening, tempering, annealing, brazing, and stress relieving.
• Accurately complete batch records, logs, and inspection reports.
• Report downtime, deviations, and corrective actions to supervisors.
• Maintain safety protocols and PPE compliance.
• Ensure ISO/AS9001 and NADCAP standards compliance where applicable.
• Create and submit reports in Excel.
