Incertec's MetalTek Heat Treat division is seeking a skilled Heat Treat Operator with vacuum furnace programming experience. The role emphasizes precise thermal processing, batch records, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, handle SPC data, and work in a hot production environment, with 2+ years of oven experience and familiarity with Cimcool or Centorr systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial oven experience, including vacuum furnaces programming.
• AMS2750 or CQI-9 certifications preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
• Ability to work in hot environments and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate vacuum furnaces for hardening, tempering, annealing, brazing, and stress relieving.
• Accurately complete batch records, logs, and inspection reports.
• Report downtime, deviations, and corrective actions to supervisors.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/AS9001 and NADCAP standards.
