Job summary

Thermon Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to complete heat-tracing systems per customer specs, ensuring satisfaction and profitability. You will coordinate with the PM, manage engineering hours, and generate manpower requirements for efficient execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in heat tracing.

Responsibilities

Review all project specifications and documentation to understand the scope of work.
Develop the Project Design Criteria.
Communicate project requirements to team members, including quality, schedule, and technical restrictions.
Ensure all team members follow the Quality Plan and address deficiencies.
Lead all technical aspects of the project, including setup, tool selection, role identification, and work allocation.
Identify and evaluate scope creep, reporting it to the Project Manager.
Report evolving requirements on schedule, staffing, and budget to the Project Manager.
Maintain the Project Design folder structure.
Provide input to develop global and regional tools and procedures.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
