Job summary

HearingLife is seeking a full-time Hearing Aid Specialist to join our in-office clinical team in Southport, NC. The role focuses on comprehensive hearing healthcare services and delivering an exceptional patient experience. Licensure according to state requirements is required.

The candidate will conduct hearing assessments, fittings, and patient education, provide aftercare, and support telehealth initiatives while aiming for clinic growth and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active license required in accordance with state requirements.
• 5+ years of experience in Hearing Aid Fitting and Dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss following clinical and state licensing standards.
• Conduct hearing assessments, fittings, and patient education on device use and care.
• Provide aftercare including troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of hearing aids.
• Counsel patients on device options, payment methods and third-party payor processes in compliance with regulations.
• Contribute to clinic growth while maintaining ethical clinical and sales practices.
• Participate in community outreach and physician relationship development.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators to meet financial goals.
• Support telehealth and remote care initiatives, including remote tests and coaching.
• Maintain continuing education and licensure compliance.
• Operate audiometric equipment and interpret test results clearly.
