Job summary

Google Mountain View is seeking a Senior Hardware Electrical Engineer for Hearables to contribute to custom hardware platforms and silicon solutions powering consumer devices. You will help shape performance, efficiency, and integration for the next generation of hardware experiences.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and design teams, guiding concepts from prototyping through mass production, with a strong focus on low‑power embedded systems and diverse PCB technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 4 years of experience in consumer electronics, or 3 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience in embedded/mobile system design, hardware architecture, board design, and product NPI.
• Experience with low power and battery-powered embedded mobile designs.
• Experience with PCB technologies (rigid, flex, rigid-flex)

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop hardware architecture for next generation systems.
• Design, implement, debug and characterize embedded systems geared for mobile applications.
• Lead new design concepts through exploration, prototyping, development, and into mass production.
• Collaborate with other team members, including software, mechanical engineering, industrial design, and outside partners.
