Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver high-quality web applications and interactive dashboards while collaborating across engineering, data, product, and DevOps teams. You will build modern UIs, integrate backend services, and embed AI capabilities into our software ecosystem.

The role requires deep experience in full stack development, frontend frameworks, API design, databases, and DevOps practices, with a focus on reliability, security, and healthcare data considerations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience.
• ~3+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts).
• ~3+ years of experience with backend development (Node.js, Python, Java, C#) and API design (REST, GraphQL).
• ~ Strong hands-on experience integrating applications with relational and NoSQL databases, ORMs, and complex data objects.
• ~ Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• ~ Practical experience or strong working knowledge of integrating AI APIs into software features.
• ~ Hands-on experience troubleshooting full stack applications, databases, and integration issues.
• ~ Hands-on experience with YAML configurations, and automation scripting (Python, Shell, or PowerShell).
• ~ Hands-on experience with troubleshooting file transfer, connectivity, security, and automation issues across cloud and hybrid environments.
• ~ Experience with real-time data streaming technologies and exposure to AI tool/platform workflows.
• ~ Familiarity with healthcare data, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare insurance feeds.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
