Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a lead strategic sourcing and implementation resource focused on delivering best-in-class contracting strategies to reduce costs for a clinically oriented regional aggregation group in the Northeast.

You will develop aggregation-group specific contract strategies, build savings solutions, and enhance operational efficiency while serving as a trusted advisor to health-system and supplier stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred; MBA or master's degree a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in contracting, contract management or supply chain.
• Ability to think critically and effectively present information using Microsoft tools.
• Healthcare contracting background with experience in negotiations preferred.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and engage stakeholders to meet savings goals and objectives through contracting strategies.
• Develop contract strategy recommendations for complex contracting needs to reduce spend and improve value.
• Conduct and interpret financial analysis, market trends, and consult with subject matter experts to formulate contract strategy recommendations.
• Monitor prices and maintain contracts using Vizient benchmarking tools.
