Job summary

Robins & Morton seeks a high-performing leader to head the Preconstruction Team in Nashville, driving accurate estimates for healthcare projects from take-off to pricing. You will manage cost control, scope, and schedule to meet client needs while coordinating with design teams and subcontractors.

The role requires a strong background in healthcare preconstruction, supervisory experience, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or preferred in CM/Building Science/CE.
Minimum of ten years preconstruction/estimating experience; healthcare construction experience preferred.
Supervisory experience with preconstruction personnel.

Responsibilities

Lead preconstruction services and estimate preparation for assigned projects, ensuring completeness and control of project budget.
Provide collaborative preconstruction input to clients and design teams.
Establish bid packaging strategy and manage bid alternates.
Coordinate issuance of early release packages to support project schedule.
Review plans/specifications for completeness and constructability.
Assemble subcontractor/vendor lists and maintain relationships.
Prepare bid packages and bid forms to clarify scope and coordinate trades.
Lead an estimate handoff meeting with operations to review final estimates and scopes.
